The Goodreads Book Tag

Hello fellow book lovers!! I saw this book tag in my home page, and I thought it was a great way to update you all on the books I’m reading!! We used to do Current Reads posts on Book Allure before, but we had to stop for a bit because we’re a little busy with uni 😦 So instead, we’re doing this. Here is the Goodreads Book Tag!!

What was the last book you marked as ‘read’? 

I just marked Black Bird of the Gallows as read, and sadly, it wasn’t for me. I didn’t like the overall mood of the book, so I gave it 3 stars. 😦

What are you currently reading?

I’m reading this right now, and I’m 99.9% sure that I will DNF this. I don’t like the writing style. I’m really sad about this because the synopsis sounded really nice.

What was the last book you marked as TBR?

I’M SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!! I love a good star-crossed lover story, so this is definitely right up my alley!! I haven’t been this excited for a book since The Cruel Prince, so I have really high expectations for this!!!

What book do you plan to read next?

I’m planning to read this next since I got an arc for this! I heard that there are some fake elements in this book, so I’m pretty excited for that.

Do you use the star rating system?

Yes, I do!!! We also use the star rating system on Book Allure also!!

Are you doing a 2018 Reading Challenge?

No, I’m not. I feel a lot of pressure when I do so, and I don’t like the feeling. Mad props to the people who do though, I wish I could do that too!!

Do you have a wishlist?

Not right now!! I only have one book on my wishlist right now actually, and you’ll see it next!! hahaha

What book do you plan to buy next? 

I definitely want to buy and read this before the movie comes out. High expectations indeed!!

I love the books of Cassandra Clare, Jenny Han, and Marie Lu!!! I’d read anything they put out, tbh 🙂
