September was a great month compared to August since I got complete five books and received some cool ARCs as well! Without further ado, let’s do our September wrap up.
Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
It took me a month to finish reading this book mainly because it was too heavy for me (partially because university started again). I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to readers who want something refreshing as Strange the Dreamer features a lot of novelties compared to most YA fantasies!
Top Ten by Katie Cotugno
Oh man, Top Ten was a mess of nonlinear confusion and toxic friendships. I expected a light and funny read but got a headache instead.
The Glass Spare by Lauren DeStefano
The Glass Spare is a fantasy novel that puts a twist to the lethal touch that most of us know from the Shatter Me series! If you’re a big fan of that series, I highly suggest picking this one up.
Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore
Alas, magic realism isn’t really my thing, but I am still fond of Wild Beauty! With its beautiful writing and unique plot, you just might develop a knack for magic realism.
Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo
Holy hell holy hell holy hell holy hell holy hell please pick this one up. I loved every chapter. I hated Wonder Woman (2017) the movie but after reading this book I rewatched it and now I love it oh my god.
An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson
Fae books are the new trend! If you’re a fan of A Court of Thorns and Roses series, this one’s for you. If you’re not a fan of the series, it still is for you! This standalone really delves into faerie folklore and makes it a wonderful masterpiece.
