So 2016 is here, and I [Kyra] still have A TON of unread books on my shelf! *gasp* What’s new?
Anyway, this is somewhat going to be my 2016 book bucket list. I kinda want myself to finish all of these books by the end of 2016 since I heard a lot of amazing things about these books!
1.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs – I own 2 copies of this book, and I can’t believe that I haven’t read this book yet! I met Ransom 2 years ago and he was the kindest person ever! Those 2 facts combined and the fact that the movie is to be released this December should convince me to read this book. I’m expecting myself to publish a review by this year.
2.
Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson – I gave this book to Nikki for her birthday even though I haven’t read this book yet. *gasp* I know, I am that kind of person. I was initially attracted to this book because of the pretty cover, but I just haven’t been in the mood for it lately. However, I’m really hoping to read it this summer!
P.S. Nikki has a review of this book!
3.
End of Days by Susan Ee – I’ve read and enjoyed the 2 other books in this series, and I cannot wait to see how this will end! MY!! SHIP!! MUST!! SAIL!!!
4.
The Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson – I tried reading the first book and I was really enjoying it, but my brain couldn’t take it all in because I was getting too anxious for college at the time I was reading this. So now that I’m adjusted to college, I’m going to give it another go!
5.
This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales – Once again, I’ve heard amazing things about this book. It’s a pretty short one, so once I’m in the mood for a heartfelt coming-of-age story, I will surely pick this one up!
6.
The Archived by Victoria Schwab – I’ve had this book for waaaay too long! I know that I’m gonna enjoy it so I just need that one push to read it. Hopefully, I’ll be able to read this during my summer break!
7.
The Book Thief by Markus Zusac – I think I’m daunted by the size of the book. I’m hoping that I’ll enjoy this heavy read though. I have very high hopes for this one!

And these were a tiny portion of the books on my shelf that I need to read by the end of 2016! I’m hoping that i’m not the only one with this problem (oops). I hope you all have a great reading year ahead! ❤
Love,
K

I am reading Since You’ve Been Gone is super good! The Book Theif was really enjoyable, but really hard to get through. I personally didn’t like Miss Peregrine’s… But that’s just me! If you want you can go read my review 🙂 I hope you guys fulfill your whole bucket list!

I really want to read The Book Thief too! My nephew read it for a class last year and he really liked it! The Miss Peregrine’s book is really good; I still need to read Hollow City and Library of Souls! Happy reading! 😀
