One Direction Book Tag: Made in the A.M. Edition

G boys let’s do this.

1. Never Enough

“It’s never, it’s never enough
Never enough”

(a book/series you can never get enough of)

The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare –  I will never be able to get over the series.

Falling Kingdoms series by Morgan Rhodes – This series will be the death of me but I have no regrets.

2. Olivia

“I live for you, I long for you, Olivia”

(a book that you’ve been waiting for and proved to be worth the wait)

The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh – I waited for this book since 2014, and the wait was soooo worth it

Frozen Tides by Morgan Rhodes – Kyra can testify how much this book ruined me.

3. What A Feeling

“What a feeling to be right here beside you now
Holding you in my arms”

(a book that put you on a literary high)

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han – This book makes me feel giddy and light. It’s the perfect happy pill whenever you’re feeling down. ❤

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff – The cover itself got me on a high as it is. What more its epistolary form and epic plot?!?!

4. Love You Goodbye

“I know you’re saying you don’t wanna hurt me
Well, maybe you should show a little mercy”

(a book with a heartbreaking situation)

The Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu – I can’t say why this is heartbreaking, but know that Prodigy was the first book I read that made me bawl my eyes out.

Ten Thousand Skies Above You by Claudia Gray – If I had a boyfriend and his soul was splintered to pieces I would be more than heartbroken.

5. Temporary Fix

“I’ll be your temporary fix
You can own me and we’ll call this what you like”

(a book you loved then got over quickly)

Sway by Kat Spears – This book was really cute and light, and I really like it for a short while. However, I forgot about it quickly.

 a little

A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall – The concept was cute but ehhhhh overall it was too childish for me.

6. Wolves

“One by one, I gotta take them down”

(a book series that got you out of a reading slump)

The Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu – I had a 2 year reading slump. Marie Lu did a miraculous thing and got me out of it. Thanks, Marie.

shatter emememe

Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi – I have reread this series so many times to get myself out of a reading slump and it has been successful 10/10 times. The only downside is that I then proceed to a Warner-induced mourning period.

7. A.M.

“Feels like this could be forever tonight
Break these clocks, forget about time
There could be a World War 3 goin’ on outside”

(a book that kept you up til the A.M.)

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare – I stayed up until 4 am to finish this and I am not sorry.

Ten Thousand Skies Above You by Claudia Gray – I got a copy a day before its release in the middle of an academic week but that didn’t stop me from reading it til the late hours of the night!!!!

8. Perfect

“Then baby, you’re perfect
Baby, you’re perfect
So let’s start right now”

(a perfect book….duh)

Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles – Wait… this one has the word “perfect” in the title. Does that count?

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas – I love this book too much for words.

9. Hey Angel

“Hey angel
Do you know the reasons why
We look up to the sky?”

(a book about angels)

Angelfall by Susan Ee – The cover says it all, my friend.

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick – Patch Cipriano is the hottest piece of ass angel in town.

10. Drag Me Down

“With your love, nobody can drag me down”

(a book that made you feel invincible)

Divergent by Veronica Roth – I felt like I could be just as badass as Tris after reading this book. I loved it so much!

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith – When I finished this book, I started to believe in love again and I felt invincible for like 3 minutes before coming to my senses. 🙂

11. History

“We could be the greatest team that the world has ever seen”

(two authors you want to write together)

I think that a book written by Laini Taylor and Stephanie Perkins would be fabulous. Laini’s gorgeous writing combined with Stephanie’s fluff would be the perfect combination!

Imagine a Falling Kingdoms-esque series as a retelling of many fairy tales. That. Is. Perfection. If Morgan Rhodes and Rosamund Hodge collaborated, I would die.

That has been the Made in the A.M. Book Tag. We are tagging you to do it! Feel free to add or omit some songs of the album and put your own twist into it! Hope you all enjoyed. Gotta Zayn. 😉
